Horsemen,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale, I would like to formally invite you to the 74th World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale. The Board of Governors of the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale has once again made it a priority to continue to improve our horse racing facilities and meet. The Futurity and Derby will remain at $15000 for 2025. Please spread the word! We would love nothing more than to fill every stall we have again.

We are continuing our partnership with 307 Horse Racing-Energy Downs and the Great Falls Turf Club to bring the Golden Triangle Triple Crown to Wyoming and Montana. The Golden Triangle Stakes for both Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses. $15,000 bonus will be paid out to both breeds based on points on races raced in Miles City, Gillette, and Great Falls.

Once again I would like to ask you as owners and trainers to make a concerted effort to make sure our meet is a success by filling our race cards. With that being said, we ask that you help to ensure we have full races and a full Jockey room. It is the responsibility of you as owners and trainers to make sure you have a jockey available to ride.

Stalls will be available March 1st. The track will be available for training weather permitting March 1st. I have attached a stall application as well as our futurity nomination form with this letter and would appreciate you getting the stall applications back to me as soon as possible. I have already had quite a bit of interest so I want to make sure we have everyone covered as far as stalls are concerned. We did have some issues with stalls being cleaned last year and may have to start charging a deposit on stalls in the future.

Finals: Sunday, May 18th, 2025.
Distance: 300 yards
Eligibility: Open to all 2022 Quarter horse foals.
Purse Split Trial
Purse Split Final
No Sex Allowance, No also eligible wt.124 lbs
Entries for trials will be by 10:00 AM. MST Thursday, May 1th, 2025

Entries for finals will be by 10:00 AM. MST Thursday, May 15th, 2025

Payment Schedule:

February 15th - $100
March 15th - $200
April 15th - $300
Time of Entry - $400
Total - $1000

Late Entry - $2500

RACE #2

Bucking Horse Sale Quarter Horse Futurity

Trials: Saturday May 3th, 2025. Finals: Saturday, May 17th, 2025.

Distance: 250 yards

Eligibility: Open to all 2023 Quarter horse foals.

No Sex Allowance, No also eligible wt.124 lbs

Entries for the trials will be by 10:00 a.m. MST Friday, May 2nd, 2025

Entries for finals will be by 10:00 a.m. MST Friday, May 16th, 2025

Owners are responsible for eligibility of horses being entered. Fees paid into stakes races on eligible horse may not be refunded.
