Update on Press Applications for the World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale

The World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale has decided to implement a major change in how we deal with press passes going forward. As of 2025, we will no longer be accepting applications for press passes.

We have decided to move forward with a small, dedicated media team for this year’s event. This team consists of PRCA and other professional photographers that were handpicked by the MCBHS Board of Governors based on a multitude of criteria which best suits the needs of the World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale. This team of photographers has already been chosen and all of them have been contacted.

If any other media personnel would like to participate in our event in a limited capacity, they are able to purchase a ticket to whichever days they want to attend. They will be allowed to bring in their equipment to the event, however, their access will be limited to the grandstands and outside of the arena. No access will be granted to any other areas, including, but not limited to, crossing the track, inside the arena, in the infield, in the VIP seating area, or behind the chutes. Anyone found in these above areas with a still/video camera and without a press pass will be escorted from the grounds by security.
