These are the top 4 acts that were chosen from all the entries by the Board of Governors of the World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale and now it is YOUR turn to decide who gets the chance to perform!

Below, you will find a short description of each act along with some links that will allow you get to know them if you are not already familiar with a particular act.

The winner of this contest will play a short set to open up the 2025 World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale "Pendleton Whisky" Concert featuring Gary Allan and Tigirlily Gold on Thursday, May 15. They will then return after the main concert for another 2 hour set under the grandstand in the "BUG" Bar area!

Tanner Laws Band - Missoula, MT

My name is Tanner Laws and I was born and raised in Rudyard, MT and Thompson Falls, MT. Playing at the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale Concert has been a dream of mine since I started writing songs in 2016. I've grown up learning about all different parts of Montana and I truly believe it's the best state there is. The beautiful nature of Montana and it's amount of public lands has always been a privilege I have enjoyed through hunting, fishing, and camping. Now I write about those things in my songs, as well as experiences I've had at rodeos, honky tonks, ranches, brandings, and college.

We have opened for Clint Black, Rodney Atkins, Randall King, Corey Kent, Dustin Lynch, Sam Barber, Mitchell Tenpenny and more.

We have recorded 2 full albums in Montana and are recording our next album for 2025 in Nashville.

I am a Louisiana born singer/songwriter currently living in Southwest Florida. I plan on having 2-3 original songs on Spotify in the very near future. I come from a rodeo family as my dad rode barebacks for 13 years and my older brother was a bull rider. I tried my hand at tough stock but ended up roping and working cattle. Now, after a long hiatus away from what I truly love (music), I’m back to writing and performing.

Blaine Andrew Ross - Moscow, ID

I've been playing solo since I was in high school and been playing in and out of bands since graduating from WSU. I've had this current band "Blaine Andrew Ross & The Contraband Cowboys" for about two years and just released my Debut Studio Record -"Wilder Than a Bronco" on all streaming services on 1/25/25.

I was considered for Favorite Newcomer and Male Vocalist of the year in late 2024 by the NW Country Music Association. I am open to both full band and solo work but would like to acknowledge that the guys in my band play in multiple other bands as well.

Cole Decker Band - Belgrade, MT

Cole Decker is a Mississippi singer-songwriter living in Montana for the past 5 years with a unique blend of writing and singing styles. His fusion of traditional country and southern rock has drawn comparisons to artists like Chris Stapleton, Whiskey Myers, and 49 Winchester.

Starting with the piano at a young age, Cole later picked up the guitar in college. He has played live shows for around six years and has been an opening act for performers like Frank Foster, Parker McCollum, and Red Shahan. Now based in Belgrade, Montana, he performs both as a solo act and with his band around the area.

Known for his honest and gritty writing style, Cole's new album, "Starting Fires On A Dare," features all original tracks like "Fifty-fifty" and "Nothing But A Plan." He considers this album a profoundly personal collection of songs ranging from heartbreaks and homelessness to dating apps and remembering his childhood.
